AIS was formed in 1977 with a focus on risk management services for aviation and aerospace business and operations. We are a privately held and independent insurance brokerage firm that is consistently one of the top three aviation insurance brokers in North America and one of the top 100 of all insurance brokers in the United States (Business Insurance - July 2006).

AIS' founders recognized, in an era of increasing complexities, that a specialized knowledge of the aviation insurance industry was necessary to make the most effective use of its clients' premium dollars. Concentration on aviation and other lines of business related to a client's aviation operations is AIS' primary emphasis.
